I like this new one quite a lot. Nice colors and I like the abstract definition in the shapes. I must admit that I still like the simplicity of the first.

You are quite good and off to an excellent start.

I like it! I like the outline effect and that's a great shadow. These look like pansies....are you looking at anything while you paint or is it totally abstract/off the top of your head? Just curious, either way you're doing good stuff.

These are in fact pansies. Pansies are very easy to draw so that's why I chose them. The drawing is ad-libbed but, i had a look at some pictures of pansies to give me an idea of colour. The hardest bit, i've found, is mixing the colours. If you mix two wrong colours together you end up with mud, but this is all in the learning curve.
