    We've had some awesome cloud formations lately, I just haven't been in a spot to get any.

    Now that is just sweet. Good catch. It has that UFO kinda look to it.

    This is a nice image and it gives a lot to the viewer to interpret.

    It's always nice to provide an image to other for individual interpretation, not simply a 'quick look' on an image. This is one that you could live with for some time and see something different every time you look at it! Gosh, could that actually be a definition of 'photography as art?'

    Perish the thought!

    wxnut will know their name! He knows all cloud formation names!
    (My husband might know, too, but he is not around)
    They do have a UFO look to them! Very much so!
    wxnut will also know in what kind of weather situation (layers of warm and cold air and all that) these show.

    Thanks. When I took this, there were (I think) 3 more sets almost just like this. These were just the closest.

    lol, that was my first thought, too.
