I went downtown w/ Joe (clarinetJWD) yesterday armed only w/ my 50mm 1.8. I'm beginning to really love that lens!

Great shots...I really like #3 and 4. 4 would be an okay shot just plain, but the birds add another dimension to the whole thing. Well done!

Great series, they are all great. Number 4 is the best of the bunch.

I'm with Aoide, I really like the first!

The fourth has a quality of its own... I wonder what makes this one so attractive to a certain JonMikal here  ..... erm, well....

But I also like the "only one from the Sushi bar?"-photo ;) :D.

I still don't understand how you can create a DOF as shallow as this with a 50mm lens?
