I really really like the simplicity in composition and all the lines and also the muted colours in "The Yard"!

And I am a great fan of urban photography, never get things that right myself, though, I'm afraid (for lack of a town??? :scratch: ) ...

I also really like the textures in your Photo 5.

I like what you've found here. I have always been a fan of "the bin", but have never been able to find a creative way to capture it. You've found the perfect setting. Great job!

Thanks for the comments they are very encouraging for a beginner. What do you prefer between pictures 2 and 3, b&w or not, I could'nt decide. I actually have a couple more that I can't up load because I used my upload limit on flickr. I will try to find another site to upload them to.

Between 2 and 3 I (the resident colour-freak, mind!) prefer the b+w version. The many different reds in the colour version are a bit distracting ... is what I think... Others may think differently.
