well, it seems really spread out. i think including more drums, or getting in closer on the drummer would have been an improvement.

the sky is exposed well, BUT the drummer is not, some fill with off camera flash would have been nice. Is this cropped in or the full frame?

the contrast also seems to be lacking some.

It is full frame I was off stage about 75ft away from the drummer at that time and that is with my shoe mount flash. I was just a spectator so I could not do any extra setup. Thank you for the advice I see were you are coming from more of the kit would look better.

i don't know your set up or anything, or how bright it was at the event.

BUT, when i can i like to underexpose the sky by about a stop to get more saturation and then fill with my flash.

75ft is a long ways away though. a good resource is daveblackphotography.com for flash stuff.

my camera is a Panisonic FZ-50 and my flash is a Metz 54 4i and ya it was having a little trouble reaching at times. thanks for the resource I need it.
