I've had this camera for a couple weeks now, and just playing around with it. Still have lots to learn!

Critiques/comments would be much appreciated! :]

nice all around. I like the New Pavilion convention Center. I used to be the exec.Sous Chef there, lol. How that building has changed. I imagine at night it would look pretty cool too.

Great car pics!

Oh noes....I came in here with the wrong impression http://thephotoforum.com/forum/member.php?u=13840

Nice shots, The second one could benifit from a slight crop, eliminate that little twig at the top, I thought it was an ariplane at first but it's a distraction. The third and fourth ones are not really doing anything for me, I like Enkei and all but it's dirty, If that is what you where looking to capture it is done quite well but that is beside the point, rims like that should be spotless.

how did you get the high angle D:.

I think you will find that a polarizing filter would be of great help in several situations.

BTW I especially like the bowl.

+1 on the bowl!!!

what does a polarizing filter do exactly??

(sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm still trying to learn the lingo!)

Hey I'm a noob in VA too! Good pictures!

nice shots...

sorry to have to point this out to you but it looks to me like you have some dust on your Canon's image sensor. I noticed 2 dark spots on the right-hand side of the 2nd image.
