I'm after a program that is capable of creating DVD slideshows, i'm currently using ProShow Producer and it keeps eating the arse out of my RAM and crashing, so i'm after some alternatives.

All suggestions are praised in advance. :)

I've been using PhotoVidShow for a while now at http://www.photo-dvd-slideshow.co.uk. It does photos, transitions, videos and dvd menus. I've done a couple of professional wedding DVD slideshows with it as well, well recommended!!:sexywink:

Nero can do a lot of stuff like that...I haven't used a bunch of different programs so I don't know how they compare.

I've heard good things about Proshow Gold...but that's probably what you are using.

Pro Show Gold is a good program.

Music, transitions, menus backgrounds and even movies can be included.
It can be hungry for memory too but always remember your typical TV resolution is somewhere around 640 x 480 unless your hi def......and even then a shot with a res of 12 x 800 would look great on hi def tv.

It could be that you're using huge images that are way too big for your actual needs.
