That's what I'm using now. Vision Spinner & assorted clearo's.

5 days now without a real cigarette...

That thing looks like the "cigarette extension" the Cruela DeVil has in 101 Dalmations!

Well, this isn't technically a 'quit smoking' aid - more like a 'safer' nicotine delivery system. You can use it to help quit, but that isn't really the real purpose.

I'm trying to transition from 'analog' (lol) cigarettes to this - you still get your nicotine, but it's basically just water vapor. None of the bad **** you get from burning tobacco. And it doesn't stink up your house/clothes.

After a few beers, not having real cigarettes has been rough so far, but I think after another week or two I'll be over that (hopefully).

It still "feels" like you're smoking too, so really the only difference is the size of the thing.

Been researching these for the past week. Really want one but I have a couple of requirements:

    1) small.. larger than a cig is ok but not a full sized one
    2) juice not cartridge
    3) manual push button

Have yet to find one that meets all of these requirements that actually has good reviews on "throat hit" and amount of vapor. Any suggestions? My friend has been off of real cigarettes for over 3 weeks now. He has one like you and said he will never go back to a real cig.

The setup I'm using meets all of those requirements except for size. I have a backup battery (small) for use when the main battery (pictured) is charging. Something like that might work for you as long as the battery lasts long enough for your usage level.

The 'throat hit' and vapor level are also largely dependent on the juice you use too, so that's something else to consider...

If you don't care about it actually looking like a cigarette, there are a ton of options... Have a look at SmokTek.com - that's where I buy most of my stuff from. Their juice selection leaves a little to be desired, but it's more than enough starting out.

Starting out, I would try a few different flavors and nic levels in small bottles till you figure out what you like. The tobacco flavors don't really taste like a cigarette - they taste the way a fresh pack smells. Don't be afraid to mix flavors either - a fruity flavor mixed with a tobacco flavor can be nice. Ans menthol mixed with pretty much anything will give it a nice 'fresh' feel.

    edit
Hitting a 'blueberry-menthol' now - quite pleasant. Look into variable voltage batteries - if you want more 'throat hit' you can crank it up, or turn it down for a more mellow hit.

"Throat hit" is basically how harsh/hot it is. How much it feels like a regular cigarette, I guess.

Sadly, I just tossed a bunch of juice. The E-cig never kept me away from cigs. So I'm on drugs instead.

Butter pecan ice cream was YUMMY!

    Cotton candy was my favorite.

I was a pretty light smoker (maybe 2 packs a week), so hopefully this will work.

I've quit before for like 2 years... I don't even know why I started again... As long as I don't drink too much, this seems to be working. The plan is to replace cigarettes with vapor, then eventually quit that. I figure quitting vapor will be easier than quitting smokes cold turkey. At least it's 'healthier' till then. I'm not saying that it's 'good' or anything, but it's got to be better than cigarettes, with all the extra **** you inhale with those...

I let my smokes run out, and haven't bought more yet, so far it's working. Once I have a buzz, I have a real craving for cigarettes though, and I basically have to chain smoke the vapor to keep it at bay, lol. Hopefully that will only last a week or two... I also should have probably gotten higher nic level juice...

    *random thought*

Is smoking marijuana as bad as smoking cigarettes. It's still ingesting a foreign carbon but MJ doesn't have all of added carcinogens of cigs so...

I'm just wondering because I really need a drug to get on so that I can be cool, and I think that marijuana is a great start before I get into the more advanced stuff like heroine and meth.

    lol

Seriously though, I have not seen anything to indicate that pot is harmful.

I used to smoke a ton of pot - like, 10 years ago. Honestly the only reason I don't now is the slim chance that I might get tested at work. IMO - there is nothing wrong with it.

I know that when I was smoking pot, I didn't drink, at all. It just wasn't 'fun' for me. Now, I drink all the time. Which is worse?

    edit
I'm sure that you thought that post was funny or something, but I don't really think it is... Either way, what I said about pot still stands, lol. You can go to the doctor and get a prescription for worse drugs.
    IMO, pot is harmless...

Yeah I know, non-PC sarcasm is frowned upon, especially among white knights and those guaranteed admittance into Heaven.

Totally going for the tasteless factor and I think I nailed it. *thumbs up* :)
