By no means a great photo I know...but kinda cool. My horse diggin deep into his Thoroughbred roots and putting on a show this evening.

Yes, it is quite cool, an attempt to pan the shot and go with the horse, and it becomes apparent already. And your horse is in focus. Motion blur at the hooves, but face and body sharp. And all the sand flying . So does he do this running just because he enjoys this?

Great shot! I like how you left some space to the right. It gives a much better sense of speed and motion.
