    Hey Everyone,

This post is a grouping of some of my shots from the Rochester International Auto Show last weekend. As a photographer these photos represent something new for me, they are the first batch of photos I shot exclusively in raw and they are also the first batch where i have really gone to any effort to do some editing. Please give feedback wherever you see appropriate as I know i have a long ways to go with editing and adjusting color, white balance, etc. (truth be told I'm pretty handicapped by the fact that i am "color impaired" which is a nice way of saying color-blind) Thanks!

I like the idea of focusing on car details rather than shooting the whole thing. At an auto show you always have someone in the way. I personally like the engine shots the best, and the tires and rims shot the least...

not too bad, i like 4 and 13 the best (number them next time, i'm too lazy to count) watch out for using too much contrast though... you can kill some of the detail in the shadows and the highlights that way... make sure your light values don't stack up on one end of the histogram and you should be good

Yeah some of these shots I did contrast a little too much and I'll have to keep in mind the light values on the histogram.
