I can't get my RAW files to open up in my editing software. I'm using Elements 6.0 and shooting with a Canon Xsi. Any help would be appreciated!

Each model of camera has slightly different RAW files...meaning that you need to upgrade your software so that it's compatible with your RAW files. The update you need is Adobe Camera RAW and should be a free download from Adobe.com.

An alternative is to use the software that came with your camera to open, edit and convert/save the image to a format that you can open with Elements...like PSD, TIFF, JPEG etc.

Thanks guys. I have used the software that came with the camera, but I'd like to figure out the Elements thing too. I'll try the download
