    nice texture. I love the look of big old trees looking up at them, but it's very hard to translate that impact to a photo.

    I wondered at first if I wasn't up in the tree looking down...these can be great shots.
    This is one gnarly and textured tree.

    I really like this shot. Like the others said, things like this always look cool, but they can be tough to capture. You definitely nailed it. The high contrast really makes the rugged texture of the bark stand out. Great shot!

    AT first i was confused if this was looking up into the tree or down the tree but i read Mulewings~ post. Very creative and interesting.
