Has anyone had an experience of Elemental's range of studio lighting: http://www.studio-flash.com/ I've been looking at elinchrom and prolinca units on ebay but even second hand they're a bit pricey for me to buy just for messing around with, whereas these guys seem to offer a series of flash heads and assorted extras for way closer to my budget.

Now i'm not expecting miracles from a kit this cheap but it would be good to know if it's servicable for small home studio stuff and also if it's likely to fall apart after 5 mins of use.

    Cheers,

If you're in the UK you might be able to find a good deal on some second-hand Calumet/Bowens monolights.
