Taken this evening after a day of rain - brightened up late afternoon, allowing me to capture some of the feeding frenzy around the feeder before nipping outside to take this view we have from the house.

Ohhh, the lighting in that is lovely! The light coloured tower really stands out nicely against that dark sky.

Very nice; amazing to think that view has been pretty much the same for around 900 years...

My parents live at Kennett, near Newmarket. Not far from you I believe?

Not too far at all. I sit for hours in the summer - looking out with pipe and coffee just checking no one moves it! There are celebrations this year for the 900th since built - central tower collapsed in the 1300's and replaced with the octagon. As you can imagine with a view like that from the garden i take pictures of it in all seasons.

And you should, and you should! This is too lovely a view not to be captured in all seasons, lights and more! Just wonderful. Can I come visit?
