This picture was taken last September at an International ROI V England Amateur Friendly Match. The weather was attrocious , light / floods not too good and my 100-400 was struggling... ! Had to use ISO 3200

Have I ever said "Welcome to ThePhotoForum" as yet, Andy?
    I have not?

    Oh

    Welcome to ThePhotoForum

And I like your two "free-kick-studies", here.
The expressions on the faces of "the wall" are hilarious.
Well, I would not look any better, I'd be afraid of the ball, too!
    Have always been!

But did the ball pass all their legs in the end and score?
Or did it hit the other green-yellow one's leg and was thus stopped?

The last two are from a different match, they show a team that does not play any international friendship matches, right?

The weather DOES look really, I mean: REALLY awful in the first!!!
You still did well. Wow, ISO 3200 ...! That goes way beyond my camera's highest ISO!

Do make more time for us, Andy!
    Will you?
And I still like all the expressions on their faces. They look like deep down inside they're all a bit afraid of the ball ;). (Which I understand perfectly well!)
