how come i used to be able to see 50 posts per page in a thread but now its set to only 20? even if I go to the user cp I can only get it to show 40 maximum.

this forum is really becoming a pain in the neck to use

lucky you, all I get is 20 if I pick the forum default, it has been 50 since the day I joined

Yes, I as quickly chose the 40 posts to one page option as I could. Along with using the Forum Default presentation, of course. For the new look is ... not to my taste, and so totally not amusing!

I can understand the default being moved to 20 from higher numbers - its much more common that people don't change default forum settings when joining a site (lazy things we are ) and for many 40 posts takes a good long while to load - especially if its a meet thread
