I have a Rebel XSi and three lenses. If I should ever decide to upgrade to a full frame sensor model, would I be able to use these same lenses, or are they incompatible?

Canon EF lens - Fit EOS Film, FF, cropped sensor bodies
Canon EF-S lens - Fit EOS cropped sensor bodies

To add...Cheap lenses really show their flaws on a FF sensor.

As said above, every EF lens will mount to every EOS body. EF-S lenses will ONLY mount to 1.6 crop sensor bodies (Though most models are: Rebels, 10/20/30/40/50D, 7D).

That being said, I was torn when investing into new lenses and decided to buy for the camera(s) I have now and not for a camera I might buy some time in the future. Plus most good glass will hold its value very well if you need/want to sell them off when/if you move to a full frame.

If you aren't looking to getting a full frame camera soon, I wouldn't even worry about it. I know that at least for me, until Canon releases a full frame speed camera at D700-like price, I will be looking at the 7D as a next body because it fits my needs a lot better than the full frame 5DmkII and the 1DmkIV is way out of budget.
