I'm trying to salvage some panoramas from image hemispheres taken on a Nikon 990 for immersive 360's. This one is about 130-150 degrees of 184. Question is, is it worth pursuing?

I like it

those colours have real punch

Oh yes. Do keep it up.
"Punch" is the right word for these colours! Wow!

colors seem a little over the top to me personally, but i love pics of the dunes... i have no idea what your asking, but i saw one of the 360s that you did on one of your links, pretty cool stuff...

I swear, the stuff I see, here and on a few pro sites, I have no idea how they get what they get. I kind of agree about the colors being out there, a bit. I think maybe I have to loosen up some and get used to it, or acquire something intangible.

Stuff like that drives me nuts.

How do you think that gets like that? Impressive. Crazy, but impressive.

I have always enjoyed Galen Rowell's work, i've subscribed to Outdoor Photographer for 7 or 8 years now and he was one of their major contributors, i think. I couldn't begin to guess how he achieved the results he did, other to look into his camera bag which is here... http://www.mountainlight.com/rowell/gr_camera_bag.html. i imagine it is all about raw talent, hard work, equipment, filters, film choice, and just putting himself out there.

the colors don't look as over-saturated on my work monitor... i think i need to calibrate my monitor at home or at least make some adjustments... a lot of stuff i do at home looks flat on other monitors.

Wow I love the colors in that capture. Well done!
