... the Festival of Church Music today was good.
Our singing went well. The trombone players were good. All the little recorder class kids did really well, and the adult recorder group is ALWAYS good. The weather was brilliant... so how could we complain?

It was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment shot when I saw how neatly the entire church showed up in that tuba there .
Now they want to put that photo onto their website . Cool.

Thanks all for your wonderful comments ... now I hope it will get a good place on the church-website ... that friend who took all the other photos that will now go into a gallery of the event said this one had to go extra and not mixed with the others - made me happy to hear that

Oh, one other quick addition to this thread:

This is my photo of the friend whose photos will make it into the online gallery of the event (since she once worked for a local paper and she is the girlfriend of our choirmaster) - at work...

And this is her photo of me, also taken on the self-same event (last Sunday), me also "at work"
