What is the camera you work with?
What would be the SMALLEST aperture you can choose? When photographing at night, knowing that you will get bright lights into your frame, always choose a very small aperture (which will result in long exposure time, which mean you will NEED a tripod to work with!), then the light sources won't turn into big, bright blobs.

The size of your photos as stored in the TPF gallery is too large. I can never see any of your photos as a whole - not even on my screen.

I use the Nikon D40x, I was using a long exposure time and I had changed my aperture several times to different f stops. I went with this one because I liked the blow out white (kinda reminded me of some of my favorite videos in the 80's :) ). My images are stored between 8"x5" or 7"x5" roughly in photoshop. When I click on the attachments in my browser they automatically re-size to fit my screen.
