I'd like to know if a Sigma 70-200 F2.8 HSM is compatible with a Canon x2 Extension tube, if it isn't are there any alternatives? I was offered a 100-400mm lens but was talked out of it apparently because they aren't the most versetile lens next to a 70-200mm. :???:

    Suggest away! :)

Any lens with a canon mount is compatible with a canon extension tube. All the extension tube does is add a spacer between the rear of the lens, and the camera mount. One end of the extension tube will just be a normal canon EF mount.
