F-14 Tomcat

Ok its been a while since this happened and it was before I really got into photography but I thought yall might like to see it. This took place on the USS Thodore Roosevelt on our last cruise. It was also one of the last times a Tomcat ever launched off of a Carrier.

Is that so? Wasn't aware of the F-14 being decommissioned yet. What replaced it?

The F-18 is an amazing machine. Not that the 14 was meat.. but still

They still have a 14 squad around for airshows and such but they wont fly anymore combat missions.
