nice title

i like it where it's at......you should stop

is that someone's real eye? or did you photoshop it? if you didn't that is the most unique eye, i have ever seen. anythings possible ;)

yea, its mine..
i adjusted some levels a bit but thats about it.
unique? i thought all eyes were unique.. hell i've got another just about like it.

The funky shaped highlight across the eyes is the only thing that bugs me. Other than that I love it as is. Great shot!

I think the post-processing raises the appeal factor of this shot, but at the same time you might've gone a tad too far: a second look at the image suggests that by making the wrinkles disappear you've made the image a bit unnatural.

Other than that, I love it.

your eye makes a sort of star pattern, with a base of shades of green with patches of dark red and tan.. thats pretty unique. or maybe i just haven't seen an eye lately

ok, well..
i will accept the bonus points for the thread title! thanks :)
wrinkles? i didn't try to do anything to any wrinkles..

the highlite in my eye is from the sky. i was looking through a picnic shelter.
is it weird if i post the same shot before i edited it??
im curious what you guys would think then..

oh hell.. here is what came out of he camera.

not weird at all! please do!

I think you did a really great job with the edit. It helps that you had a great shot to begin with.

thanks!
i just feel like it has potential to be more than i've made it..
i guess it is a relatively common idea though.. close up of a face/eye..

its a hand shot self portrait..done in my studio/office/kitchen/home/..truck :)

what a beautiful eye!

i think if you are in the position to reshoot, maybe lowering the eye in the frame so that the eyebrow is not cut off at the top?

a nice shot nonetheless.
