    Hello Everyone,

On my weekly hike in Rocky Mountain National Park, I ran across this flower. The perfect subject to test my new lense!!!! Let me know what you think!!

    Honestly?
Well, it is too bright, actually blown out, in several areas, and the DOF you chose is too shallow so that too many parts of the flower are blurred.

But you obviously have an eye for beauty, for beautiful colours, and you know how to frame flowers. (Though I might have moved the camera a bit more to the left not to have the flower too much in the centre of my picture).

In short: great lens, and you are on your way! Good! :D

I agree with Corinna... Next time TRY to get a different angle of the flower SO the sun isnt glarning off the top of the metal leaves up top here... Those Blown out bright spots wont be there if you angle yourself in a good spot to where you dont see those...

Its a beautiful flower though!! SO I look forward to seeing more from you!
