Fake Sandisk Memory Cards

Having fallen foul of a great bargain on ebay I thought that I should pass on the following.

I bought from ebay sometime ago a 1Gb Sandisk Ultra II memory card. The card looked real and was well package as I would have expected a sandisk product to be. The card worked fine and still does.

However whilst flicking through a magazine today I saw an article on how to identify fake sandisk memory cards!! I checked the identifying features against my card and sure enough it had all the hall marks of a fake.

So for the benefit and info of others I have attached two links to websites that detail the differences. Hopefully this may prevent someone else buying a fake.
