Well, It's mid October and the Fall colors still have not peaked in the Great Smoky Mountains. I went out yesterday morning to Cades Cove and got a few shots. I also shot a sunrise on the Foothills Parkway and a few of an old wood fence. I did some B&W because I thought they might be neat.

i've been all over america the past month and very few places are even starting to change until this week. it's the latest autumn roadtrip i've ever taken and the least change in color. it seems to be peak along the canadian border right now and higher elevations in colorado.

you caught some beautiful views. i like the lower perspective in #4 and the foreground fence in #6. the sunset is particularly nice.

We peaked about a week ago. Was a wet summer so they have stayed on longer this year. There is still a lot of good color in our mountains. Another week or two and it will mostly be gone I believe.

Very nice set and a beautiful sky in the first one.....

Nice sunrise and Cades Cove shots. Looks like you took several of those on Hyatt's Lane.
