Last weekend I headed up to Golden Gate Canyon State Park, hoping to still capture Autumn colors while I could. I wouldn't be disappointed. All taken on my Minolta 5D, using a Minolta 18-200 DT lens along with a Singh-Ray CPL.
    Thoughts welcomed!

Oh wow, no, you were not disappointed. And we aren't either!
    Very nice colours!
The blue sky and the yellow birches make for some wonderful photos.

Though my favourite (5) does not show any sky.
    But backlit birch leaves... wonderful!

    I like them all!
And very much I also like 1 and 4.

But 5 is my absolute favourite here!

Hey thanks :) Not Birch though, Aspens! :D They have a kinda green and goldish bark instead of pure white. Ironically, I don't think we have Birch trees here in Colorado, at least I have never seen one. I do think though they are in the same family. I'll upload a closer shot showing the bark of em

nice series, i think I like #3 the best, makes me want to drive down that road and see what's beyond the bend...

I just took a few hundred shots similar to these on saturday, i can't wait to go through them all and see if they look as good...
