hey - indeed - the red grass is nuts

its taken at a place on the Blue Ridge Parkway called "Graveyard Fields". This place is one of a kind. Oh - and its not red grass. Its actually a whole bunch of a particular type of shrub whose leaves change a bright red in the fall - creating that increadible carpet of fire.

Looks like heathland to me, hence the red. Very nice. Especially the second photo. I love the special light that only a ray of low sunshine against dark grey clouds can give.
