Falling Leaves, Falling Temperatures!

I took the day off work yesterday, so after classes I trekked up to a local nature preserve to catch some fall colours before the trees lose all their leaves!
It was about 35 degrees while I was hiking around; as I was driving home the flurries began to fall. Brrrrr!

3. I've been starting to get used to my new zoom lens... woo hoo!

4. And here's an interesting effect I discovered when I accidentally underexposed the photo, and then increased the saturation in the post-processing.

My favourite of the series is the first. I like how the bridge leads us to the trees and what little leaves they still carry.
And the effect you achieved in the last is quite surprising, isn't it. I like that one quite a bit, too. Brings out the colours of those few leaves really well. And you are all getting SNOW already. Brrr! I don't want this to happen. When we get snow in NOVEMBER we find that EARLY. October would be ... criminal .
