just messing around with my 50mm, there's a couple more on my flickr if you guys wanna check them out.

They all look over-exposed. 1 and 2 look like snapshots, and 3 has no head anymore.

I do like the composition of 2 though, just needs a little more work.

Also ... #1 would be better if not centered, with cow on right sweet spot;
#3 maybe a portrait.

I think the horse should be framed more the the left in 2.
