    Hey guys,

Earlier tonight I ran out with Steph, my girlfriend, and just had some fun. She may be no model, but she sure was a trooper!
    C&C is appreciated :)

I like #4, but maybe clone out the big gulp soda. Wonder how it would be if her eyes were open.

What sort of post do you do to get your yellow style? Tones? 1st one might have been too much.

Yeah the big gulp was left in on purpose but I can easily understand what isn't appealing about it.

As far as post I use a mix of selective coloring and just simply adjusting the white balance in Adobe Camera Raw.

Just curious when you say the first one do you mean the picture of the field, or the first picture of the girl? I can see both of them having just a bit too much yellow in them anyway just curious what you were thinking.

She has a very Molly Ringwald flare to her, esp. in #2 and #5. I like.

I think she's adorable! And she looks fun to photograph, too!

I meant the field. For the field, it felt off for me because the subject matter is the green field.

In my subjective opinion, I think that yellow look goes well with people subjects but not so much for landscape.

The yellow look with your girlfriend is ok. It's kinda stylistic. That whole desat, vintage, yellow look is very popular. I'm still trying to get that look down. It's a lot harder than it appears.

I agree about the field, I originally kept more green in it (outstanding saturation even straight out of camera) but later felt that as a series it lessened the strength.

Also that style is just a fad, I've been attempting to recreate it solely for personal growth. Not being a snoot with my nose in the air because I actually really do enjoy it, just admitting the truth out loud xD. I enjoy it but I know in another 3 months I'll be sick of it even more than I already am. It isn't as easy to get as I thought it would be, especially since moving that saturation slider that low just hurts me :-|.

Thanks for the comment back, I was very afraid I pushed the skin tone too yellow =| something far worse than the field! haha
