Favorite Spirit, Not beer.

brandy and lovage

Well, I have two:

My brother's Plum Brandy (he makes it) which is about 150 proof or 75% alcohol.

Good Tequila for sipping.

Crown Royal (Rye Whisky) or maybe Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum.

It is very rare and particularly sad if a 1/2 gallon of Jose Cuervo Especial is not sitting in my freezer. On the occassions to upgrade, I like Don Julio and Patron - anejo's. But then again, I'm likely to try any tequila put in front of me.

BTW, treat your tequila with respect and educate those bartenders that are ignorant. Do not allow them to put ice in the shaker, add the tequila and perform air-masturbation. Be patient, give it time to rest in the ice for a few minutes and perhaps a gentle swirl just before pouring into the shot glass.

whatever anyone buys me

Most single malts, Lagavuilin or Laphroag generally suit me very nicely, with a little still water and nothing more

Dark rum and coke.

if i am treating myself, a Single malt with a drop of water

Vodka - Grey Goose
Tequila - Patron and Herradura
Rum - Captain Morgan and Ron Viejo de Caldas
