So it was feeding time again for my snake, Spot. But this time it was a bit different:
    #1
    [IMG]
#2 She tagged the rat as she normally does
    [IMG]
#3 Weird thing was, she started eating beginning with the front legs. I thought, she will manouvre around a bit and get the head then.
#4 But then i saw this. Whats wrong with it? Well, you can see both the butt and the nose of the rat.
#5 She folded the rat and i bet you can imagine, thats not an easy way to eat.
#6 I thought she wasnt able to get the rat down here throat, when positioned like this.
#7 But i was wrong, as soon as the head went in, it folded back to the original position and she could swallow the rest of the rat the normal way
    [IMG]
And after a big meal, comes a big yawn
    [IMG]
Got a bigger resolution of the last one, you can see it HERE

    Thanks for looking

Maybe she was folding the rat like that to squeeze out any excess air? :D

    Nice shots.

Is the Hi-res a lens, camera or post production thing?

Perhaps "spot" thinks that eating a folded over rat is like a taco?

thanks for the comments everyone :)
She sure is a beauty and still growing. Think she is about 1 meter now, weighing almost 1 kg.
A taco eh, yeah maybe its a hint that she wants something different to eat :)
And "Hi-Res" is high resolution. So the picture contains more pixels then the one posted here, thus being bigger so you can see more details.
