Ferns

    I found these ferns growing at the top of a wall, in the shelter of some conifers. They were illuminated by a shaft of sunlight, and seemed unaffected by the winter weather raging around them.

    well I'm surprised the Queen of Green hasn't replied to this yet :lol:

    I like the shot, some nice textures and patterns

    Thanks for resurrecting this shot Lostprophet. This is one of my steps outside my photographic "comfort zone". That could account for it sinking without trace :D.

    Tell you what: I like the green of the moss here. But the green of these ferns is too blue, contains too little yellow.

    Which does not say a thing about the photo - very clear, sharp, good texture ... but somehow it shows that this is a "new path" for you, Tony.
