Well, I was a bit worried about that, as I come up with a lot of topics by looking around my room and putting down what I see. It seems, though, that just because I see something that gives me a topic doesn't mean it's the photo I want to take (For example, I got 'maximum' from a copy of Maximum PC that's sitting on my desk, but a picture of a magazine isn't the best option.)

Oh, and as an aside, the graph you see on the calculator is part of the formula I use to calculate the top 20!

When we vote, are we grading by how much we like the photo in general, or by how much the photo pertains to the topic?

Some people use one metric, some use another. Most use a combination of both. How you vote is completely up to you!
