I am going to be taking a film photography class in my high school this year, and I would like some oppinions on what type of camera I should buy. For the last couple years I have been using a Canon Digital Rebel XT, and I am about ready to upgrade to the (hopefully) approaching 40d. I need a film camera for this class, and I have decided to get a canon EOS body, so I can use the lenses I bought for my rebel. I probably will never use the camera i buy again, unless for some reason film completely grabs me, but I need the camera to hold up to a year of use, and still have the professional features I am used to. Price does matter, and if a non-current model is just as good as a current one, or a difference in price might make a difference, I would like to know. Thank you so much for helping.

The rebel k2 is a decent enough camera.
