Other than the shape and the little guide, it's not really any different than a Patterson reel and tank. You don't need a dark room - use a changing bag.

I've never had a problem loading a plastic reel; I've had issues with the metal ones, but never the plastic.

Anyone can develop film without a darkroom. People have been doing it for oh, say, the past 150 years.

Looks just perfect for a Kickstarter-type project! Everrything about the project looks PERFECT for Kickstarter. Clever video, not too long, exploded photo of the various parts of the developing tank/loader, etc.,etc..

90 Euro for an early bird unit! I paid $35 on ebay for a box full of Paterson tanks, stainless tanks, and other bits and pieces and took them in my windowless bathroom....

Looks neat though, hopefully it will help remind people that they can do this at home!
