Hey guys. Can film lenses be used with a digital camera? My dad has a bunch of old Canon lenses from when he used to shoot with film. I'm getting an XTI, would I be able to pair them up? (Edited the wrong post :p)

It depends. If they are AF (auto focus) lenses yes they should be useable. If they are MF (manual focus) I do not think they will. They also need to be EF lenses or I think a converter is needed for older lenses.
What kind of camera does he have?

If your dad shot with an AE using FD mount lenses, than you need adapters and if you're using an XTi, than MF lenses are no fun if you've got bad eyesight like me.
