How often do you find a good shot (especially in an urban setting)? How long do you spend setting it up and finding the best angles and positions?
I went into the city for 3 hours yesterday, walking around, and couldn't really produce any good shots. Maybe I don't spend enough time setting them up or something. I kind of give up after 5 minutes and just take the best shot I can see, hoping I'll find something better elsewhere. Should I just be more persistant?
This door gave me trouble because it's on a slender, round building, and I didn't know what to do. The perspectives were all weird. The shape and size of the building made it real difficult.

This electrical box was interesting but I didn't know what to do with it...

Thanks in advance!!
