On 05/08/15 I was lucky enough to experience what these guys do first hand as I was 3 blocks away getting ready for a birthday dinner for my sister. No one was seriously injured during the incident. We often take for granted our jobs and how safe and easy it can be. These guys risk there lives daily to ensure everyone will make it out ok, although this is not often the case. Thank you FDNY for all that you do!
