Dark nights and flashy lights make it hard to get a good shot. My D5300 becomes lackluster over 1000ISO making fast shutter speeds harder to get. C&C welcome.

Nice. I'd clone out the overhead cable in the first shot

I agree. Other than that, great shots!

Love your username also. :)

First ones nice. Fire scenes are about fire and faces. Not always easy to get but make for more dramatic photos.

Thanks guys!

I cloned out the cable as suggested. Here is the new picture (the picture in the original post may or may not update to the new image too. I am not sure. I replaced the image on Flickr)

The third is, imo, a picture without a real point of interest. We see the fireman's back, and no face.
There's a bright light, that has nothing to do with what is the point of the picture.

If he was looking at something, frame the picture to include what he is looking at.
Then he would be at one third at what he is looking at would be in the other.

I see your point. Unfortunately, apart from a small crop on the bottom, and some straightening, thats all there is. The photo was taken in portrait.
I was attempting to get a shot of him in his rehab state (just after he gets out of the building). He is resting, with a bottle of water in hand. I took several, some he was looking in my direction, but they were blurred due to movement. I was limited with shutter speeds unfortunately.

I will take your comments into consideration though!
