Fire picture

    Here it is, taken with a D40 on my first day out with it. It might be a little warm but I like it.

    EDIT, heres a weird HDR thing I did with it. Looks unreal and a little silly so I didn't post a picture, heres a link:

    definitely not hdr

    lemme guess, something along the lines of image copy>desaturate>invert>gaussian blur>change to soft light blending mode??

    I could be wrong, it happens.

    It does have an hdrish look to it.

    theres no HDR look, a photograph either has lots of dynamic range or it doesnt. If you're referring the colours of the picture, you're just to used to seeing overtoned HDR's.

    No, I wasn't trying to make it look HDR. It was just my original RAW of that picture pseudo-HDR'ed in photomatrix. The look was pretty interesting I thought.
