hey you got a picture MSnowy - that's something. got any more? this is better than some of the 'press photography' i see in my local paper. you could try a mono conversion. it would improve sharpness compared to the color aberrations, visible here.

a few more that i'll probably drop of at the fire station, everyone likes pictures of themselves .no smoke no flames good for the home owners

If shooting photos from behind the apparatus, just use caution as these scenes are very busy and try to get the whole name and apparatus in the photo not just part of it. This will look a lot better. Besides this, nice job.
