    so, shooting fireworks in color is so played out. i decided to photograph the fireworks i saw in black and white. please enjoy...

    wow... these are such clear photos of fireworks... I love em. I also like how they are B&W... it has a nice feel to them.

    yeah, these are really good. I like how they're not completely contrasty--there's still some elements of gray in there instead of stark black-and-white.

    Cool idea. I like number 3 it actually reminded me of icicles hanging from the branches of a tree.

    very nice shots!
    Very interesting to see fireworks in black & white, gives you an all new feeling for them.

    You made me realize that I've never seen B&W fireworks! I agree, it's like getting a brand new look at a familiar sight. Four is my favorite. I love the symmetry of the crop and the little bits of light flying through the air.
