    ... are what the center of these flowers remind me of. Also from USF. I'd like general comments or technical critique. Thanks! :sillysmi:

    Something seems wrong. The shots are nice but seems like the focus was a bit off. But then i'm no expert.

    Focus is fine I think, its the depth of field - f4.5 is really wide for a close up macro shot like these - you really want to try for a smaller aperture (bigger f number - f13 or 16) if you can in order to get a greater depth of field into these sorts of shots.

    Aside from that the first shot is very good with exposure, colours and composition is not too tight (the only real niggle with the second shot)

    Thanks for the comments! F8 is my max aperture, or min, or whatever. I'll keep that in mind. :sillysmi:
