First attempt at IR (Infrared)

    Well, not the greatest subject, just taken out my back door. I was trying out my new IR filter and have NO CLUE of how to use it, Photoshop it, etc!! So this is what I came up with in Photoshop with adjusting the levels, etc.

    I wasnt happy with the one above, so I went out and reshot it with a different setting and came up with this:

    ir is frustrating! however with enough reading, coaching, and trial and error, it is a very pleasent thing....i would suggest that give this a shot. its a pretty informative link.... http://www.outdooreyes.com/photo95.php3 good luck with your new filter!

    What lens did you do? It looks like you got some flaring. The 2nd one looks great though :)
