First attempt at lightening

That title is misleading.

They aren't bad, i don't know the intricacies of shooting lightning. However it looks better when you have it in a context (a landscape reallly) If you just have a photo with only lightning its not very impressive. So try and photograph it from more of a distance, it looks liek yuo were right underneath it :shock:

I like them. When I shoot this, I set my camera on about 100-200 iso and then use the bulb setting. I leave the shutter open until it strikes, and then I release shutter. That has been working pretty good for me.

Thank you for the suggestions. I really had no idea what I was doing. I didn't even have my tripod. These were the only two worth keeping out of about 15 shots!
