First attempt @ fire up close

These were taken at my fire pit in my backyard the other night. This was my first attempt at working with fire photos up close. These are hand held and no post work. Please bring all thoughts good bad etc.......

Fire's an interesting subject, isn't it, and you can try all sorts of exposures on it.
I did the same, years ago, and the photos and thread are even still intact. You might find it interesting?

Has the situation about the red x changed?
I changed their Flickr-status, now they've been made public ... sorry, where set to "private" earlier...

Yes It has,,,, And wow some very cool shots. Makes me want to give it another go tomorrow evening or perhabs try during the day. Thanks for opening those up to be viewed.
