First batch o' street photos

I took the plunge a few days ago and went downtown for some street photography.

Tom Loud, yer friendly neighborhood folk singer. I actually really enjoyed his stuff, but man, he sings LOUD (well, I guess it is his name

I have a few more on the way... I just have to wait until I can steal my scanner back!

You want to do what? "Steal" your scanner back? How so? Why's that?

Anyhow, I much, much, much enjoy the second photo because of its lines, all horizontal, and the fast walker (he looks like he's practising Olympic walking!) walking in opposite direction to the arrow on the arrow on the street. This tiny fact gives the photo its point, I say. Just great.

I only shot a couple rolls. It took me a while to realize that Monday was President's Day and that half, if not most, of downtown was off. There weren't many people around, so I went back to school to study for 4 exams (yikes!).
