    Hey everybody.

I'm new to the board and just picked up my camera about two weeks back. I made the plunge with a Nikon D5000 and have been having a blast so far.

I know I have a lot to learn in regards to both photo composition and using the proper camera settings.

I have already started a flickr page (in my signature) and am playing with my new camera as often as life allows for it.

I would love any feedback on what I've done so far and hope to stick around the board to learn how to take better pictures.

Welcome! I'm in the same boat with a new D5000. Great little camera! What lenses did you get with it?

Have fun and enjoy- lots of knowledgeable people on here. Nice pix, by the way.

Same here. Covers most shots nicely.
